The first half of the show features a conversation with former Labor Secretary Robert Reich and former Senate Majority Whip Alan Simpson (R-WY), who despite differences of political persuasion (and physical stature) share a warm friendship and wry wit. They share their experiences of how the national political scene has become more polarized since the mid-1990s.
